SPECIAL NOTE DATED 22/03/2018
TO
ALL SUB CENTRES,
Sir,
As per the relevant clauses of the MOU between RETC and NIOS, the latter institution has given certain guidelines for the continuity of accreditation, this year onwards as given below.
CLAUSE 11.13 Admissions of more than 10 learners per course in each session are made compulsory.
CLAUSE 11.15 Poor performance of the AVI functioning for the two consecutive Years and not being able to keep the desired performance will be viewed seriously.
Based on the above guidelines RETC has decided to enroll maximum number of students during this year in each course by somehow or other.
With this aim we have opened an Annexe Office, Opposite of Indian Bank, K. P. Road, Kayamkulam on 01/03/2018 enabling the public and other learners to get in touch with the concerned authorized authorities, to get detailed information regarding the NIOS courses conveniently.
In the above context all ATCS are instructed to enroll maximum number of admissions for NIOS courses during this session especially,
The basic computing course having 6 months duration and the Kerala PSC has approved this course as equivalent to DCA for all purpose as per the govt. order Number: GO(MS)No. 44/2012/P&ARD dated 10/09/2012 of Personal & Administrative Reforms (Rules) Department. Trivandrum.
The data entry course is also approved by KPSC as per clause 15 of the letter No. DR. 1 (2) 20691 / 06( K.hn ) dated 11 / 09 / 2007 of Public Service Commission, Trivandrum.
The other course ECCE having one year duration is also govt. certificate course intended for Pre primary education, has bigger scope in the school education.
I also like to bring your attention that if any laxity in admitting the students are noticed, I may have to take other possible ways to find out a solution to enhance the enrollment of students under different courses of NIOS.
